CLIENT INFORMATION AND AWARENESS
We love our clients, and our artists too.
A few things to know before your event.
Please be aware that proper coverage must be provided for your artist or performer. We do not consider trees adequate cover. We will bring our own tent (35$ fee) if necessary for outdoor events.
CHECK THE WEATHER:
Have a plan B or backup facility/event location in case of inclement weather, we don't gamble our artist or performers paychecks on Texas weather.
DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION
Deposits are non refundable. Once a deposit is made your artist has been assigned and will no longer accept other events at that time. This means, if your event cancels, the artist you were provided may have lost opportunity for other work. If your event is cancelled more than 72 hours prior to your event we will waive your remainder due.
HELPING YOUR ARTIST WITH THE END OF THE LINE
Please be considerate of your artist end time. All of our artists are trained to "designate the end of the line"" at the appropriate time as not to have guests abruptly cut off from receiving entertainment. Please keep in mind that your artist may have other events to get to and may need assistance with the end of the line.
SET UP TIME
ARTISTS * PERFORMERS * DJ's and BANDS * BOOTHS
Artists include Airbrush, Face Painting, Balloon Art, Henna/Mehndi, Glitter Tattoos and Caricature, etc. An artist set up time will generally take 5-10 minutes. We encourage our artist to arrive 30-45 minutes early and be completely set up preferably within 20 minutes of start time for larger events. Birthdays are a little different as we like to have our artist arrive a little sooner to start time.
Performers include Stilt walkers, Variety performers such as juggling and strolling magic. Dancers, Etc. With the exception of Magicians (20-minute set up), Performers generally are ready to go as soon as they arrive.
DJ's and Bands Depending on the complexity of set up for each show we will coordinate carefully with you what time is to be expected for arrival, set up and take down. A DJ will generally arrive 45 minutes to one hour early with a 20 minute set up.
Booths consist of Make it take it stations such as leather working, slime stations, sand art, wax hands, and photo booths. They generally arrive 45 minutes to an hour early if not more, set up time depends entirely on the type of booth.
If for any reason your artist will not arrive at least 15 minutes before start time, they will call the onsite contact within 30 minutes of start time with an estimated arrival. For pre-loading, parking and directional purposes we would prefer your artist to have two onsite contacts for your event.
Our artists are encouraged to dress fun and classy. If you would like your artist dressed any differently (in theme) please be specific when booking your event.
